Resolution issue

Hello, I have the same issue with reposnsivity of elementor for advanced padding section. All is looking good in the elementor edit when I switch from desktop view to mobile view. But when I check the live site the mobile padding doesnt correspodent to the the padding which is in the elementor builder. I have two pages with this design. If go to elementor->tools and regenerate css the padding is visible on the site but when I go to the another site its broken. Same the opposite. I spoke to elementor support and told me to switch to Hello Elementor theme and all working fine, the same with Blocksy theme. The issues is 100% with Astra. Astra team can you look in to this ASAP

Hi @ramzi27, sorry for the delay.

Have you tried temporarily switched the theme to a default WordPress theme, to make sure that it’s due to Astra?

yeah i did switch to the default wordpress but it still did not work!

so mainly its a problem with astra theme or i am not correct ?

I found the issue. The issu is with Astra Pro if you are using Custom Layouts. If you activate Custom Layouts the problem is there. I just deactivated Custom Layouts and using Elementor header and footer plugin. But when are you doing this you need regenrate CSS in Elementor -> Tools.

so all i have to do is to regenrate CSS in elementor ??

Since the issue does exist even with a default theme, as mentioned by @ramzi27 here, I can say that this is not theme-related. Having said that, the thing mentioned by @lew1s was not right, at least in Ramzi’s case here.

I would suggest you get in touch with Elementor support or ask for some help on Elementor forum.

I talked to the Elementor Support and when I chnaged the theme to Elementor Hello or Blocksy I dint hvae the issue. The issue is only with Astra Pro Custom Layouts.

@lew1s, that means your problem is different from @ramzi27’s problem, as Custom Layouts will not work with other theme. And as Ramzi mentioned above, the issue is still happening on the default WordPress theme.

If you are still facing the issue, please open a ticket through our Support Portal as discuss anything related to the pro is not allowed in this forum.

Yep, I am aware of it. However, since the problem is also happening on the default theme, that means it is not theme related. Please start a thread on Elementor forum and see if there’s another user had the same problem.

And since this is not related to Astra, I would ask you to mark this thread as Resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if there is anything else related to Astra we can help you with.
