Resolved all of my http to https problems!

  • I recently moved my site from http to https. It went pretty smoothly but for some reason images in my WordPress Media library were still under the impression that they were still located at “http”. I ran a couple of Search & Replace plug-ins and they didn’t solve the problem.

    When I finally discovered the Velvelt Blues plug in I was at “what the heck, one more can’t hurt” stage.

    Instead, I found this plug-in to be much more powerful, updating the URLS in not just the post and page info, but also in custom fields and – specifically – for all “attachments”.

    It did the deed, solved all my http to https problems, wish I’d used this one first.
