Resolving a Caching Issue

  • The Shield Security Team absolutely Rocks!

    I had a dreadful occasion to troubleshoot a serious performance degradation issue on one of my websites, and through the process I uncovered that Shield Security sets a SET-COOKIE state through headers on my website, which renders dynamic caching caching not functional.

    I reported this anomaly on the Shield Security Facebook page, and within a surprisingly short period of time, Paul Goodchild replied back to me, and he worked with me with my test cases all along, until a beta release, and subsequently, v17.0.1 release addressed the issue.

    Thank you so much to Paul and your Team for your perseverance and persistence in uncovering the root cause of this issue, which had a positive effect on frontend page load speeds.
