Respect Default Variable Value, Sort Categories

    Hello:

    I just installed this plugin today to try out with the wholesale section of our website, and so far it seems great.

    I’m having two problems, though.

    First, for each variable product, I have set a Default Variable in Woocommerce. In these tables, though, that default value is not respected, and customers must manually choose a value for each variable. I’d really prefer if the customer could just check the boxes and add to cart, without having to also select a variable.

    My other problem is that I’m listing products by category. Even when I use the “orderby” and “asc” tags, the products within each category are not sorted. Does this only work when you specify a list of individual products? Is this a bug?

    Thanks for all your work on this. It’s an awesome plugin, and I’m enjoying it regardless of these issues.

    Hello Matthew,

    For your first issue, we don’t have support for that yet. But thanks for pointing it out and we will definitely try to add that in one of our upcoming updates.

    There shouldn’t be problem on the second issue. It would be great if you could share your page link or give us the short-code to test it in details.

    I hope that you are able to implement the Default Variable support soon!

    As for the sorting issue, I can’t show you the actual production pages, since they’re set up for limited access. However, I’ve made a similar page for testing purposes, here:

    And here’s the shortcode that I’m using:

    [woo-multi-cart orderby=“title” order=“asc” cats=”195″]

    My understanding is that this would order the items in category 195 by title in ascending order, but as you can see, they’re in some sort of other random order.

    Sorry for the delay Matthew,

    I’ve tried to recreate the products with some of your given names. Here’s the result, https://prnt.sc/ukjcv6 and I’ve used the exact same shortcode like yours,
    [woo-multi-cart orderby=”title” order=”asc” cats=”16″]

    As you can see, this one’s working fine.

    So, my best guess is some kind of custom query hook, maybe in your theme, is interfering with our plugin’s query. That’s why the sorting isn’t working as it’s supposed to be. Hope it helps.
