    Hi,

    Lately I have been facing the ‘Ping Bing & Yahoo failed with response code: 410’ response on my XML Sitemap whenever I click on the ‘Ping Search Engines’

  • Hi, your are doing nothing wrong, it looks like something changed at Bing side.

    You’re doing nothing wrong. Bing has closed its ping service and switched to another service called IndexNow.

    Integration of the IndexNow API into the plugin has been added to the feature wish list. I cannot promise it for the next release though…

    Quick tip: to get rid of the error before the next release, deactivate Bing from the Ping Services on Settings > Writing.
