Response Time

Is there a way to increase the response time? This plugin works great on my site, but it takes forever to process and load the homepage.

ie: https://fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=16691 should go to the homepage, but it takes about a full minute to load.

Tested without the plugin and it goes straight to the 301 post not found immediately.
