I’m used to creating a child theme and writing my css in the styles.css of the child theme.
However I’m finding that Responsive doesn’t seem to play well with this. Styles I add are overridden by inline styles that are inserted, which have precedence.
For instance, I’m unable to redefine styles for h1 h2 elements such as font-size.
Is this intended behaviour of the style or am I missing something.
I know there are other ways of doing it, but I find them cumbersome and would like all my styling to be done in the child theme.

  • Also interested in hearing the answer to this, or if anyone else has had this problem. Perhaps it’s the child theme setup?

    Hi @stumats,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

Responsive theme works seamlessly with child theme.

We suspect there might some issue in how you set up the child theme.

Could you please tell us how did you set up the theme?

    Best Regards.
