Responsive Boat add Homepage Slider

    I have Zerif Lite and its child theme, Responsive Boat, which I am using. I would like to add a centered slider (or full width) in place of the main logo (or whole big title section) on the homepage. I have the slider code already. Is this possible? Where would I insert the code? I couldn’t find it in another thread. Any help, either pointing me to the proper thread or how to do it would be great.
