Responsive Category Slider Issue

Hello all

I am using Responsive Category Slider plugin for this website on the homepage. Link here

I have modified it and use four instances of the plugin for the sections New Economy, Positive Impact, Inspiring Leadership and Sustainable Solutions. However over the time and since the articles of each category have largely increased the plugin takes much more time to load because it needs to load first all the images at once. Is there a way to load only the first two images and let the others load later when the user chooses to scroll to the older articles? This is the website of the plugin. Link here
