Responsive Child Theme update

    Hallo everybody,
    i have installed the theme (Cyberchimps)”Adaptiv Version: 1.9.7.7″
    and
    “Responsive Child Theme Version 1.0.0”. The “Responsive Child Theme” is activated. Now it is recommended to update “Adaptiv Version: 1.9.7.7” to “Version 1.9.7.9”.
    I suppose that the “Responsive Child Theme Version 1.0.0” basically does the same work as those Child Themes that I can create by myself within WordPress, means: updating “Adaptiv Version: 1.9.7.7” does not effect “Responsive Child Theme Version 1.0.0” and its configurations and CSS-Code in its style.css. Is that right ?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.
    Even after updating the parent theme, the child theme configurations remain intact.
    But it is generally recommended to take backup of child theme before update.
