• I know this might not be the easiest subject to explain here, but I’m looking for other ways to build this site on mobile while keeping the elements the same on the desktop (this is the key). Since I can’t really attach screenshots of what I mean, I would advise anyone who’s replying to this post to compare the desktop and mobile views. I need the mobile view to look more in order. I feel like I’ve hit a wall with trying to adjust these accordingly. Any and all thoughts are appreciated!

  • Hi @jgardonis

When you use a sidebar, the sidebar “pulls” below (or above if you program that) the main column. So I believe that if you don’t use any sidebar, just use full width for the main page, you should accomplish that similar look. It appears that this is what you’ve done.

The menu always turns into a “Hamburger menu” at the breakpoint for a tablet and smartphone. I’m not sure if or how you can prevent that to maintain your look. I think if you hand code your menus instead of using the WordPress/Customizr menu control and keep the official menu empty, don’t create one.

I think you can keep your logo left with a control in the Customize area.

(I’m not with Customizr but am a user and have built websites since 1986.)

@debshadovitz Thanks for your input. I’m ok with the hamburger menu. For me though if you see on mobile and compare it to the desktop view some of the buttons are well below where they should be with the text and some of the text is not fitting within the screen. I’ve tried adjusting the padding but it seems to change some the boxes on the desktop view.
