We love TablePress, but are having an issue when viewing a table on a phone. We have a table that includes a photo for every record in the table. When viewed on a phone, the header labels (which are now on the side) no longer line up with each row because the photo is taller than the space for the header line. So every subsequent row doesn’t line up with the labels.

I don’t see a “hook” in the code that would allow me to style that particular row so everything that follows would line up properly.

Is there any way to get this to look right?

I can’t provide a link, since the site is password protected.

    Thanks!
    Kirby

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

You’ll most likely just need some “Custom CSS” to set the height of the column with the images in the responsive mode.
If you post a link to the page with the table where this happens, I’ll gladly take a look!

    Regards,
    Tobias

I can grant you access to the page (password protected), but I don’t want to post the password publicly. Is there a way I can send it to you directly?

    Hi,

quick update for everybody following this thread:
I’ve been working on this directly with Kirby and some “Custom CSS” fixed this indeed. ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: As Kirby can no longer edit his post above, could a moderator please delete his email address from the post? Thanks a lot!

Hi Tobias, in future you want the attention of a moderator we follow threads that are tagged with “modlook”. We do have an option to see every post that comes through on the forum but because there are so many posts it is unlikely that just asking for a moderator in your post will receive one’s attention.

    Hi Andrew,

I actually had added the “modlook” tag, and I can see it in the sidebar on the right of the post?

    Tobias

Oh okay, I only noticed this thread when the OP created another one asking for a moderator’s help. So, in contrary to what I just said, we also notice people asking for help in comments ??
