    Hello Tobias,

I have a problem with the extension “responsive tables” when my wp theme is activated now. It wasn’t the case before. The problem is when the extension is activated (i use the collapse mode) it can show a maximum of 3 columns even if there’s enough space to show more on my page. So, has my tables always have 4 colums or more, i always see the “+ – ” My theme is “The7” a very popular premium theme. You can see here : https://submissionfight.com/non-classe/tableau/

Thanks and congrats for the 2 million downloads!

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

While it may look like there’s enough space, it seems that the JS code has calculated that there is at least one row that does not have enough space to accomodate all four columns. I assume that this is why the Extension decides to directly use the collapsing, even on the desktop.
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar enough with the internals of the DataTables JS code in order to know how to change this, sorry ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for the fast response.

Ok I just created a new table with only a number as content. Now I see 4 columns but the 5th is hidden. So it looks like the extension always hide 1 column whatever the content and the space is

    Hi,

that sounds strange. You could therefore maybe try asking in the forums at https://datatables.net/forums/
The people there have more experience with this JS code, so they might be able to find out why this happens.
