Responsive full-width ThinkUpSlider Images Cut Off

  • I am new to WordPress and I am a student. I am working with Minamaze Free. My pictures (jpgs) in my ThinkUpSlider on the home page are getting cut off. I searched the forums for answers and tried them out.

    I tried saving my pictures at 1200 x 350 with a max slider height of 500, which looks great for desktop; but, when I look at it on mobile and tablet, the sides of the picture get cut off. If I make the slider max 350 with the same picture size, the top and bottom of the picture get cut off on larger desktops and looks great on mobile.

    Then, I tried picture at 960 x 280 with a max slider height of 500 and that looks great on larger desktops but the sides get cut off on tablet and mobile. Same as above, if I use same picture size at max slider height of 350, the top and bottom gets cut off and it looks good on mobile.

    And then I tried 960 x 420 with max slider at 500 and top and bottom get cut off on larger desktop and looks good on tablet and mobile. Same picture size at max slider width 350 and the top and bottom get cut off on larger desktop and looks good on tablet and mobile.

    I don’t know if there’s a setting I can change or if I need to save the pictures at a different size. Any suggestions?

    The image size right now on the website is at 1200 x 350 at a max slider size of 350.

    Also, when I upload and insert a header image to the top of my screen, it only goes so far and then there’s blank white space on the right side. I’m wondering if this can be changed so that it is responsive to larger screen sizes?
