Hi, I want the gallery to keep its aspect ration fixed when the browser is being resized. Activating the option “Responsive height” unfortunately doesn’t change anything. I believe I had it working at first, but after some time it stopped working.
Can somebody give me some advice here?
    Kind regards

    Hello,

your idea with the layout (many “sliders” in masonry mode) is very original and the sliders try to keep some proportions set initially but most likely this is the best result, since a completely third-party algorithm controls the columns

The same thing happens to me. The gallery (slider) images no longer keep the aspect ratio if the option is enabled. How can this be fixed?

I have the same problem, the gallery was perfectly responsive and we have discovered that it is not responsive on mobile devices. Does the pro plugin also have this bug?

“Responsive height” – this option has nothing to do with images (proportions). This option ensures that the proportions of the container that contains the gallery (div) are maintained.

In earlier versions, the gallery on a small display could become very small in height (when using Responsive Height), so we made it so that the slider height does not become significantly smaller than the original height on a very small vertical display.

And is there any way to reduce the gallery height on mobile?

    Thanks @gallerycreator

It’s a shame because it was a plugin that suited us perfectly, unfortunately with the change it no longer does. Good luck to new plugin users

Hi, thanks for the answer @gallerycreator. I am quite certain it worked for a short time in my columns setup. Nevertheless do you have an idea how I could recreate this without columns? Just with your plugin I mean? The functionality I build with the use of many galleries is perfect for this use case. But the initial “front” image should be somehow consistent in proportion. Unfortunately I am not the CSS crack, otherwise I maybe tweak this manually.

@stanhill If the layout in the admin panel is very different from the presentation on the site, then nothing can be done (this is my personal understanding of the problem). Unfortunately, I do not have a solution for you.

OK, thanks anyways. Controlling the exact dimensions however would be a great feature for the slider.
