I just recently updated the Responsive Menu Plug in to 3.0.18. When I did, the Responsive Menu on the site disappeared. I deactivated and reactivated the plugin but no success. Any suggestion on how to get it to return?

Menu on phone doesn’t look anything like what it was before. Can’t read font and menu choices don’t expand out like before. I’m viewing on an Android Samsung G6 Edge+

I just upgraded WP to 4.7.2 to see if it made any difference. It did not.

Peter, I can restore the site to before the upgrade and you can see how it looked and performed before. Would you like for me to do this and then you can see what happens when we upgrade the plugin.

    Hey there,

It shows on Google Chrome for me if I resize my window, what value do you have in the breakpoint width option?

Also, it sounds like you have only just upgraded from the 2.x version to the new 3.x version which was a major release almost a year ago now.

There has been a huge amount of changes in the last year and it’s likely you will need to go through a few of the options to get it looking exactly as it was before.

There is a whole load of documentation that covers every option that I would recommend reading through on the below URL:

    https://responsive.menu/docs

If you get stuck with any of it please let me know.

    Breakpoint is set to 800

If export from v2 will v3 accept the settings?

    Hey there,

If you are trying to see it on a full screen Google Chrome on desktop then you need to increase the breakpoint value or resize your browser down as per the docs below:

    https://responsive.menu/docs/initial-setup/choose-a-breakpoint/

Unfortunately, the compatible options will have already been copied from the 2.x version and any that haven’t been will need to be set again.

    All the best

I just decided to go back to a restore and just not upgrade the plugin. It’s back the way it was. I tried to verify the settings, but under the new version, it wouldn’t change the font color white or resize the menus. Thoughts?

    Hey there,

There’s no reason why it shouldn’t do, if you can provide a link to your dev site with it installed I’m more than happy to take a look for you.

Did you make sure to hit Update Options a few times and clear any WP or server caches?

    Hi Charlotte,

Can you please open a new support request so as not to muddle with this one and can you also confirm that you don’t have the Use Shortcode option turned on.

    Thanks alot

    Peter
