  • Hi there,

Please check if the issues persists when all plugins are disabled at the same time.

If the menu works when all plugins are disabled, please enable plugins one at a time until you find the plugin that might be causing the problem.

    Hi,

i disabled all the plugins but I still got this issue. I purged my cache before verifying so plugins are not the cause of this problem…

    Any other idea ? ^^

    Thx for help.

Have you copied all of the css from the themes style.css file, then placed it in the customizer?

If you have, is there a specific reason why?

Also, have you manually added javascript to the site for addthis? If you have, please temporarily remove it.

Have you made direct edits to themes files, like for the footer links?

Like Gary, I suspect that all the duplicate CSS you’ve added in your Customizer as a possible culprit. Try removing all that and only leaving any styles you want to override.

    Hi there,

i wasn’t the one who did this, i just taken back the website last week…. And i saw this issue.

I will compare the original style.css file content with all the additionnal css and remove all duplicate. Maybe it will resolve this problem.

Thank you anyway for your answers.

I’ll tell you if it worked tomorrow.

It looks like some theme files may have been edited directly – judging by the table in the footer, and the lack of closing tags for the </footer>, </body>, and </html>.

If core files have been edited in Sela, those changes will be overwritten if the theme is updated.

An “update-proof” method of customizing the theme would be to use a child theme to override template files.

It’s possible that the menu might not be working because wp_footer has been removed from the theme, which prevents javascript that is required for the menu from being loaded.

I can’t see the /sela/js/navigation.js file being loaded on the site, or the sela.js file.

You could delete the theme and install a fresh copy to fix these issues, but you will lose some of the other edits/changes that have possibly been made to core theme files.

    hi,

with all you said i think i will just purge all the site with a new Sela theme and do modifications on child theme on a good theme base. If i try to fix all problems one by one it will take too much time so i think it’s the best way to fix all problems the old webmaster created with his work.

Thank you all for your help. I will close this topic as resolved and if i got new problems i will open a new one.

Thank you and have a nice week ??
