    Hi Gautam,

I run my plugin through P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler every release and I have never had a load time of that on any of my dev or performance sites. I have just run another scan this moment and got a load time of 0.036 seconds.

It’s quite hard for me to advise you as every server and setup is completely different, maybe you have a poor, slow or cheap server or have configuration issues, it could be almost anything.

I would advise speaking to your web host and see if they can find any issues and if you have any related to the plugin I would be more than happy to help.

Also, there are plenty of optimisation options you can apply to the plugin, please read the page below:

    https://responsive.menu/docs/initial-setup/recommended-options/

    Hope that helps

    Hi Gautam,

That is a very open ended question and could span pages worth of debate. I am not saying your web hosts are slow but I am saying that this could be the case. It could, unfortunately, be one of a million things causing this issue on your site, for example what caching do you apply, how is your web server configured etc?

Did implementing the changes I mentioned in my last post make a difference to the load times as they should significantly improve load times and performance.

Also, what did your host say when you asked them about the issue?

WordPress has their own hosting suggestions page here https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/

    All the best

I have also run a P3 Scan and your plugin is taking the longest time out of all my plugins at: 0.5431, and accounts for 40% of the runtime.

    Hey there,

As above, I am not getting anywhere near these load times, in fact on my sites it has the lowest runtime of all my plugins. Have you gone through the below optimisation tips yet to see if it helps with page load?

    https://responsive.menu/docs/initial-setup/recommended-options/

Also, 0.5 seconds doesn’t sound particularly long to me – can you let me know what times you are expecting it to load in?

    Awaiting your reply

    To all,

Please note that P3 Profiler hasn’t been updated in over 2 years and in fact doesn’t work with PHP 7 so I wouldn’t trust it’s output too much anymore, please see reviews and outdated notice below:

    https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/p3-profiler/#reviews

I would advise using another tool for profiling as I have just tried this on a new site and in fact it doesn’t work anymore.

I won’t be using it for profiling any more and will either find a new tool or build my own.

    Peter
