I am using MaxMegaMenu with a BeaverBuilder Child theme.

I bought the Pro personal licence.

    Site: https://77.104.146.150/~smarttinc

I am having a few different problems. First, I had the red menu button provided by the theme at the top right corner, when I pushed it, I got a second black bar with a menu icon under the header. Pushing this new second icon opened the menu. I tried changing the responsiveness to zero and the menu appeared (see below) immediately upon pushing the red icon. Strangely, when I reset the responsiveness back to 800, the situation did not reverse itself. The black bar mode never came back.

It seems that the black bar mode was the menu I actually wanted for mobile use. It acted as a dropdown, while the menu I have only acts like a miniature version of the regular menu on any full size screen view. Why is this a problem?

    1. The menu rolls down over the other menu entries, not pushing them down.
    2. Multiple menu entries with shorter headings appear on the same line.
    3. Second level menus roll to the right, thus off screen. Probably a very bad thing on a cell phone or mini tablet.

    Please help fix these issues.

    Hi smartinc,

At the moment you have the Responsive Breakpoint set to “800” (rather than 800px) which is why it’s not converting to a mobile style menu properly.

Please set the Responsive Breakpoint to 769px (the width at which BeaverBuilder starts showing the mobile button), then enable the ‘Disable Mobile Toggle’ option. This will leave the BeaverBuilder menu toggle in place, and clicking it will show the expanded mobile style menu.

PS I am working from a hotel at the moment and am only covering Pro support tickets (until I return on Wednesday), if you have any more questions or problems please get in touch directly through https://www.maxmegamenu.com/support/

    Hi Tom,

That worked perfectly. (it would be nice if WP interfaces specified the need for “px” after the number for all of us non-pro designers who are used to earlier design software that apparently took it for granted.)

Thanks again for the speedy response. I really needed it and you came through!

Could you let me know what the code is to use the menu. When I try to resize the screen size, the collapse does not work.

    Thanks.
