I’m having trouble with rendering my slider responsive. The thing is, I don’t want it to take all the screen’s width by default.

I have a 870 px maximum width page, which I want to be reponsive and my slider is the header of that page. If I select full width; it takes all the screen
( > 870 px) but it is responsive (image becomes smaller if the window becomes smaller). If I don’t select full width, it’s not responsive (in a small window, I see only the top left of the image, and I can scroll)
I’d like to be responsive with a max width.

And I’m not very good with custom CSS ?? Could you help me out?

My settings in Dimensions are 870 x 550 px

    Dear Sasogwa,

There should not be any issues even with the max_width. There might be an issue with your theme and our slider. Please provide us link to the page, where you have the slider posted. We will check it out. Thank you.

I solved the problem. I had also defined the width or max-width of the div containing the slider in my style.css and didn’t see it. My bad there ?? It works well now
