• Hi, there! I’m trying to implement the responsive slider on the homepage of my site, located here:

    https://yourslownewsday.com/

I have the maximum width of the slider set to 750 and the height set to 400. I have the ” Display Post/Page Title in Slider?” box checked off, not the “Display Content in Slider?” box, because that’s what I want.

I have the “Slider Excerpt Width (in percentage):” box currently set at 30, but I’ve tried it at 50 and 70 and 20 as well — all in efforts to stop the white box the title appears in in the slider to keep from overlapping with the next slide. Here’s an example:

(If you visit the above-linked site you’ll see this same behavior on every slide)

I’m on StudioPress’ Magazine Pro theme.

It appears from a glance at various forums that this is a persistent issue, yet none of the proposed fixes (all of which were admittedly from months ago or longer) seem to work. I’m hopeful you have a solution for me. Thank you in advance! It’s appreciated.
