Responsive Slideshow image re-order

Avalon theme, responsive slide show: trying to re-order the images in slide show. In Media, after drag and drop images in new order, then update, slide show still shows same order. Going back into Media the images stayed in last order, did not reset to old order.
Still, slide show only showing original order.
Is there some other way to re-order images for the responsive slide show?
