Responsive table inside a page or post

What is the code for a responsive table inside a page or post. What is the .css to be inserted into the style.css file.
1)I want to add thumbnails of photos on the left with description on the right. When you click on the thumb a bigger image pops up with lightbox effect. Is that possible?
2)Some of the thumbs will be directing to another post or page
