This is a managed site on GoDaddy, Responsive theme. I didn’t build it and am not a WordPress person. Nothing points to a problem.

Images in the theme no longer show up. Backups have the same problem so I think it is may be an update issue. Page code looks fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The website is a managed WP on GoDaddy using the Responsive Theme. I didn’t build it. It used to have this header image: LTL_Header.png. It stopped displaying it a few days ago leaving an empty space and a scrambled menu. Whatever the problem is it also effects the backups as they — tried 2 different ones — don’t show the header image.
The header will display in a different template but I don’t want to have to rebuild the site.

Forgot to mention what I did.
    Monday
    – Tried to reinsert the header image, but couldn’t find a way to do it.
    – Tried debug through GoDaddy’s File Editor but it wouldn’t let me do it.
    – Tried other templates and image showed up, but templates wouldn’t work for the site as it is.
    – Replaced the image in Media to no avail.
    – Went through various settings, Appearance options and nothing had an effect.
    – Got depressed, had a drink.
    Tuesday
    – Tried it all again.

Finally found a backup that works. Problem is the updated Responsive theme.
How do I prevent it from updating?

    Hi there,

To disable the auto updates, follow to below steps:
    Steps:
    1) Dashboard -> Appearance
    2) Select the theme -> Click on ‘Disable auto-updates’
The option ‘Disable auto-updates’ is available only if auto-updates are enabled already.

This will disable the theme’s auto updates, but you can still update the theme manually whenever the update is available.

I hope, this works for you.

It has happened again! How do I permanently stop the theme from updating?
This is a managed site on GoDaddy and I’m not sure I can rewrite the code.
    Help please.

Nothing? Is there no way to fix this? Can I convert the site to html from WordPress then to fix the problem?

    Hi there,

If the site is already set to disable auto-updates then we would recommend you to please contact your hosting provider regarding this issue.

Please do let us know the response received by the hosting provider.

    Best Regards
