Responsive Tiled Galleries

Hi, I to add Jetpack to most of my sites and one thing that never really worked out as expected is the behaviour of tiled galleries in terms of responsiveness. Tried the content width settings, overriding styles via CSS, nothing worked satisfactorily.

Is there any particular technique to make these work in a responsive environment?
