• I’m currently using a mix of Serif WebPlus and WordPress to design my website (www.mademers.com). I need to redesign my site(s), integrating them better, preferably into one.

Because I have multiple categories for my business, I need multiple “front” pages that don’t look like a blog (my blogs are only one part of my website). Problem is, I cannot find a WP theme that allows me to create multiple front pages where the sidebar elements are not repeated each page.

Part of this redesign will be to update my blog (www.mademers.com/globalindieauthor) to the new theme that is responsive. I am terrified that when I do I’m going to lose my posts, my subscribers, etc.

Does anyone know of a WP theme that allows the user to create something more like a website where the blog is just one element?

And can anyone give me an idea of the risks involved to content when changing from one theme to another?

Note that I am not a programmer; I can only design from WYSIWYG (I have some background in graphic design).

    All aid appreciated.
