Rest API conflict with SG Siteground

  • Hello,

    I found a conflict problem after activating this plugin with SOG Siteground plugin
    When entering SG Siteground I received a message:

    COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE WORDPRESS REST API
    Either a security plugin, custom function or rules in your .htaccess file is preventing the WordPress REST API from working properly. SG Optimizer is using it to store its options and other functionalities so please make sure it works properly.

    When unninsalling WPFront Notification Bar, the problem was solved.

    We use this plugin and also SiteGround’s SG Optimizer plugin. No issues whatsoever.

    Where is the error message being displayed? WP Site Heath? Error Log?

    Also, do you have a security plugin or any other that offers an option to block/restrict WordPress’ API? If so, you may want to check your settings.

    If the above doesn’t help, can you provide more details of your issue? (e.g., screenshots, htaccess file restrictions, etc.).

    Also, did you contact SiteGround support for assistance? They can confirm the culprit. At our end, it’s definitely not this plugin.
