Rest API endpoints break

Hello,

When We translate the site in ANY other language then the rest API endpoints of that site are broken.

I have found this issue on client site and I have reproduced it on my local environment. I have translated the site in mr (Marathi) language and the issue is reproduced. You can try it by yourself.

E.g.
https://example.org/mr/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/

(I have not any live site for reference.)
