    Hi there,

I have just installed the events calendar plugin on the site that I am in the process of developing and upon installation, I receive an error saying “Warning: The Events Calendar REST API endpoints are not accessible! This may be due to a server configuration or another plugin blocking access to the REST API.
Please check with your hosting provider or system administrator to ensure that the below is accessible.” I have checjed with my host and they said that REST API is already available on the domain. All my plugins and themse are up to date and I only installed a security plugin after I received this warning so that is not the issue. I can’t seem to find where the conflict is. Please could you assist?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @saarahedwards1 @geoffbel

I understand that the message about the REST API endpoints may have caused concern, but please be assured that it is a false positive and does not imply that the REST API is disabled. This should not have any adverse effects on your site or the plugin’s functionality. Our developers are fully aware of this and are actively working on improving the notice for a better user experience.

We’ve already created an internal ticket TEC-5105 to address this issue and I’ve included your specific use case in it to communicate it to our team.

I’m happy to help if any other questions are coming up around this topic, otherwise I’ll go ahead and close this ticket.

Thanks again for reporting this issue and for using The Events Calendar! Have a great day.
