    Hi @brianmurphy,

Yes, the plugin supports the REST API and works with the WooCommerce orders endpoint.

    Hi @stephjacq,

Since the plug-in supports REST API with the wooocommerce orders endpoint, is there a way to collect user payment using the api and process the payment through Braintree?

    Any documentation on the process?

    Thank you.

This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

Thanks for the general info links @stephjacq.

I was hoping the author of this plugin could give a documentation link just like I provided in my original question which shows the field names to be passed with the credit card number.

I can figure out the development aspect when they tell me what names have been given to the parameters for the credit card number, expiration, etc. (we are not doing this in php)

Should we file a bug that this aspect of the plugin is not documented?

    Hi, @brianmurphy!

I was hoping the author of this plugin could give a documentation link just like I provided in my original question which shows the field names to be passed with the credit card number.

Currently, the only developer documentation we have for Braintree for WooCommerce is here: Braintree for WooCommerce: Action and Filter Hooks.

I’m not sure if that helps you much. If it doesn’t, let us know, and I can reach out to the plugin developers about additional documentation or at least the exact information you’re looking for.

    Hi @brianmurphy

Hopefully, the link Cara gave will help.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
