Restoration to new site

    We are trying to migrate to a new server and want to find out if it is possible to restore a S3 backup which was created from the LIVE site on the OLD server to a NEW server simply by installing WPVivid to the NEW server/site, connecting to the same S3 bucket and scan for backups to restore on the NEW server/site. If not, what is the alternative?

    Hello @danishhaidri ,

    That’s correct; however, this feature is available only in the Pro version. You can upload the backup from the source site to the target site using WPvivid and then restore it.

    BTW, it is advised that you refrain from deleting the source site until you have confirmed that all functions are operating correctly on the new site.
