    It looks like you don’t have enough permissions to perform the restoration.
    Not WordPress privileges but actually at server-access level.

    Please go to ***site_url***/wp-admin/site-health.php?tab=debug
    Here at the very bottom you should see “File permissions” category.

    All results on that list should be followed by “Writable” status.
    If “The main WordPress directory” is not writable, you will need to fix that before performing restore process.

    If you’re on managed hosting, please switch to non-managed – that should solve the issue. You can contact your hosting provider they should do that for you ??

    Let them know that you need to “Fix non writable WordPress root directory”.
    That should be enough for them.
