restore mysql backup from .idb and .frm files

  • i cooped mysql files after restoring files posts and pages not back ??
    please help me how to restore my wordprress data base from .frm and .idb files

    Those are not files from which you can “restore”. The proper way to backup is to use “mysqldump” from the command line, export from phpmyadmin, or use a plugin that backs up the database.

    It *may* be that you can recover if you shut down MySQL, move the current set of files in /var/lib/mysql to someplace safe, copy those files in their place, and start mysqld. Good luck.
