Restore posts from database of expired blog;

hello guys, I would appreciate any help.
ok I messed it up. My domain name expired on me (I was on vacation) and days after that I learned someone else bought my domain name. was really upset about that, but I still have my database and stuff intact. Now I wanted to retrive my almost two years worth of posts from database, what is the best way to do it? I tried wayback machine but it only archived few posts, but at least I could get them. I am not sure if I did it right, but I tried to import my database tables from the expired blog to a new one and now my new (dummy) blog is totally redirected to a different site obviously same company as with the one who bought my domain name. How am I supposed to retrive my old posts? thanks.
