Restore stuck at 0% Complete

Hello! I am trying to migrate from one site to another. I exported everything using the plug-in. I’ve tried restoring a couple of times and get the same issue no matter what.

First I tried the ‘import’ option where the file uploads directly through the wp-admin. When I do that, the file seems to upload okay, but then when that’s done and I hit ‘restore’ it says “Restoring 8417 files” but stays at 0% Complete forever. I tried FTP’ing in to the site and it does actually look like files are getting put in there. I waited about an hour and a half and it continued to stay at 0% Complete though in wp-admin.

So I stopped the process, then had to delete everything on the site and reinstall wordpress because my the site stopped working.

I repeated this one more time last night and the same thing happened. I gave it 2 hours.

Then I deleted everything on the site again, did a fresh wordpress install, but this time I uploaded the .wpress file into the backups folder in wp-content and tried to restore from the backup.
The same thing is happening now where it is stuck at 0% Complete.

Is there anything else I can do? Is this a lost cause? I’ve used this plugin before and it worked fabulously! I just need to get my site up and running for my client.
