Restore sub-site from multi-site backup

    I have a website that is currently set up as a multi site but doesn’t need to be as a single site with a translation plugin would work just fine. My client wants to change hosting, so I would like to migrate just the main site but without it being a multi-site set up. My question is: using the Updraft backup and the paid migrator add-on, is it possible to migrate a multi-site install to a single site install. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I’m afraid it is not possible to migrate a sub-site to a standalone WordPress install. UpdraftPlus can only migrate the entire Multisite install or restore a sub-site within the same network.
