restore to newer database version

    Hello,

    i’m trying to restore a all-in-one backup/export to a new site. the problem is that the old site had database version 7 and the new location database version 8.
    you get a warning when trying te restore that it might fail.
    the restore will stop at arround 70% and wordpress stops working
    is there a work around to get site working?
