Restore wordpress older version

    Hi

    I made a export of my site, to at local machine for test.
    I imported my site and all is fine.

    Now I tried update wp on my local machine to 5.2.2.
    That breaks my site, I the made a new import of my file,
    to get my local version back to reflect my live site,

    All is restored, just not wordpress version – it is still 5.2.2?
    Im a doing things wrong?

    Yes, the plugin will restore only the data:
    1. Database
    2. Plugins
    3. Media
    4. Themes
    5. Anything extra

    It will not restore WordPress version. It will use the same version as the site it is installed on.
