Restored Site from Backup: Site is Up But Can’t be Edited (Errors Out)

  • We had to restore our website from a backup from 2 weeks ago. the site is hosted on one of our Azure servers. The site is up and seems ok (all pages coming up) browsing wise. I am able to get into and access WP-Admin (albeit it’s extremely slow to load). However, when I try to edit a page or create a new page it’s giving a 500 Internal Server Error or Critical Error. Can someone please assist? Thank you.

    Hey there!

    One thing that comes to mind would be checking the PHP error logs, if you haven’t already. I’m not familiar with Azure servers so you may need to reach out to them about how to get those.
