My scenario is a little peculiar, Went to bed last night and my site was fine, woke up this morning to the site somehow reverting itself to about a week ago.

Meaning, all files were deleted, and database reverted. All I have are the .git files from my revisr backups. And that’s great, but I can not seem to get Revisr to recognize the .git files from my directory back up.

How do I get the revisr backup of my database so that I can import it in PHPMyadmin ?

The files are all there for the site, but I can’t find the database files. Does revisr store the DB backup in a directory somewhere?

    Help…. ??

    Hi,

That’s strange, I’ve never seen this issue before. Did you have any automatic backup or auto-pull functionality enabled?

Revisr backs up the database to the wp-content/uploads/revisr-backups directory.

Also feel free to shoot an email to [email protected] if you want me to take a closer look and help you get back up and running.

    Thank you.

AWESOME. I was able to restore the data from the uploads.

    THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH.

Would it be possible to post the procedure you used to restore your database? As it looks now each table has to be manually imported to server for example if using WAMP import each table via phpmyadmin. I an a novice WP user but have researched this but haven’t found a concise way to restore a database using revisr. Thanks
