    Hello,

I’m looking to backup an old site (running WordPress version 4.8.3) and transfer it to a WordPress version 6.0 environment.

I know that this is not necessarily advisable, I am aware that I will have to review things behind, but it is the only way to continue to keep this site alive. However, I have a problem. Using WPVivid, I download the version of the site on the v.4.8.3 environment and when I upload it on the blank v.6.0, it restores the version of WordPress from the backup (the 4.8.3).

Is this normal? How can I backup only the content and not the WP version?

    Thanks for your help.

    Nolan

    Hello @nolanbrtl

It is normal with the free version because it restores the entire site. You can exclude WordPress core when you restore a site with the pro version.

    Thanks @tonyrobins

It’s the same with All in one ? Because I can’t have the pro version (I am in a company).

    Thank you for your help
