Restoring Back up and not losing new content

    Hey!

    Is there any way I can develop my live site on localhost and then push the changes to my live site, without losing any new content that might have been created by the users in that time?

    For example, restoring all files and backups from updated localhost in live site, but using the database from livesite?

    Hi Tomas,

    I’m afraid UpdraftPlus will overwrite everything when migrating to a new URL. The best you can do is to import all contents to your staging/development site first before migrating to your live site.
