We had one of our site admins accidentally delete our WP files today when removing an FTP account.

Thankfully we still have the database, however, after doing a restore from said database on a fresh WP installation the site looks good, but all links to the blog posts are broken.

Editing them inside the admin section shows the posts to be intact, however, the link to the post itself is gone.

I.E. You go to the main page, you see the start of the blog, you click readmore, and you get a 404 error. Im assuming the pages simply werent “recreated” after the DB import.

Is there a way to fix this?

My site is located at https://www.homelessgamers.com , thanks much for your time.

Ok fixed the issue, for someone else that finds this same problem, simply change how WP does links in permalinks in settings. Change it to another method, and then change it back to the desired method. Fixed.

ahhhhhhhh you are the man! ive been running in circles trying to figure it out! as soon as i read your post i go, that’s it! thanks alot~
