restoring old theme

    Hi,
    i want to restore old theme, which i used like 2 years ago, on a freshly installed wp.
    the problem is that this theme is modified from original, so default install .zip does not work. Also, which i think could be the real problem, i do not remember what plugins I used before, and now i just have a copy of theme folder.
    then trying to install this template I get the following message:
    Unpacking the package…

    The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure

    Is there any way to restore this theme? using some tools maybe?
