Restoring the contents and settings after reinstalling WP

  • Hello,

    The guys from my webhost told me I have to reinstall WordPress (uninstall everything and then install it from scratch). I am running a blog for a few months already, and it would be a lot of work to set up everything again. Is there a way to do it all automatically? I mean, when I reinstall WordPress, is there a way to restore the plugins, settings, posts and everything as it was before, automatically?
