Restrict access for categories

I’d like to know if I can have the plugin restrict access for one or more categories. At this point, I’m having to select the restrict option for each post under the category, though if I forget to do it (or someone else posting forgets) then it will slip through the cracks and be accessible by the guests.
Is there a way to set it on for a category only?
