Restrict Access to WooCommerce Categories?

I believe the only categories you can restrict access to are Post Categories

Thanks Pete, I’ve looked at this extension before and I can’t see anywhere that this will add product category restrictions to users though.

Ok. Sorry that doesn’t help you. I never looked at it too deeply.
so unless someone has coded something somewhere, at this stage I would say they is not a way within PMPro to restrict product access.

ok so there is nothing official to do this, and some have created some custom code to do this, but you could try this Add on. No Guaranties and you would need to get it to work for you.

Adds the ‘Require Membership’ meta box to all CPTs selected and redirects non-members to the selected page.

It even works with WooCommerce for “members only” products (redirects users without access from the single product view).

You might like to look at the WooCommerce Restrict Categories Access plugin by IgnightWoo. So far it’s the only plug in I’ve found which will do the job. Please post any other alternatives you find.
