Restrict CPT content by role

That’s the territory of plugins like https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/restrict-content/ and other “Membership” style plugins…

If you would use pods alone you need to add php code to check wether the logged in users capability is in the list of the related user and there is no quick and simple answer that comes to my mind – but maybe other’s have an idea…

Because by simply adding a relationship it doesn’t add any functionality to that relationship. You’ll have to develop that yourself.
Pods simply makes the relationship so you as a developer can build your tools with it.

If you aren’t a developer then you are searching for a plugin like Members (simple access management) or Memberpress (advanced access management).
