restrict names in input and textarea

    Hello. I have a number of variable products with customizations which I would like to restrict. I have textareas that I would like to restrict to a specific number of names, separated by commas and that once passed cannot be written any more.
    Example: David, Lauren, Matheo, John … 30 END

    Is there any way to restrict that? Or somewhere to put regular expressions and only accept 29 commas
