Is there a way to restrict ShortPixel functionality for certain user roles? Even if I use a plugin to hide the ShortPixel settings and bulk processing panels, users can still use ShortPixel using the Media Library (there’s a ShortPixel column with options to optimize images).

    Thanks!

For settings and bulk processing panels, the user must have the manage_options right (admin), the other users do not see them (please tell me if this is not like this in your case).
But for the column we didn’t think to restrict it, what would be in your case the limitation? The ones that can edit posts should see it or not?

Yes, that’s right. So only the admin has access to the Shortpixel settings, but all user roles have access to the ShortPixel column in the Media panel so they can optimize images. Is there a way so that only admins can optimize images?

I will think of a solution and comment here when I have something.
